Agrobiotechnology Talk Series (15) “Bioactive Compounds in Crops” has been delivered by Prof Wing Tak Jack Wong from the CUHK on 20 January 2022. In this talk, Prof Wong introduced the bioactive compounds in crops and their role in health promotion and prevention of diseases. He also shared his works to demonstrate the novel cardiovascular benefits of active compounds from food sources.

Agrobiotechnology talk series aims to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
