To facilitate the usage of the Orbitrap equipped by the AoE center, a Workshop on “Sample Preparation Workshop for Orbitrap Users” was held by the AoE center in CUHK on 18th December 2019. Experienced users Mr Thomas Leung and Miss Helen Tsui from Prof. Sai-Ming Ngai’s laboratory, which focused on proteomic research, shared their valuable knowledge in sample preparation and provided hands on training to the potential users. Twelve representatives from different PI labs have participated. The capacity of the Orbitrap is now basically fully utilized.
