Agrobiotechnology talk (13) ‘Ancient Foods with Modern Benefits: An Overview of the Health Effects of Soyfoods’ was held on 3 November 2021. In this talk, Dr Mark Messina, Director of The Nutrition Science and Research for the Soy Nutrition Institute Global, has given an overview of the health effects of soyfoods as well as their controversies with the support of scientific literature, clinical and observational studies.. The talk was well received by a total of 86 participants.

Agrobiotechnology talk series aims to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
