17 September 2021 – Agrobiotechnology Talk Series (11) Dietary Fiber as a multifunctional food component for human health

Agrobiotechnology talk (11) ‘Dietary Fiber as a multifunctional food component for human health’ was held on 17 September 2021. In this talk, Prof Peter C.K. Cheung from the CUHK provided an overview based on current research on the chemical structure of dietary fiber and its relationship with the physiological functions that are beneficial to humans. The talk was well received by 41 participants.

Agrobiotechnology talk series aims to promote agrobiotechnology and enhance understanding of the potential applications of agricultural products. The target audience includes international scholars, researchers, agricultural industry as well as the general public.
