30 March 2021 – Agrobiotechnology Talk Series (5) Insects and other arthropods in agriculture: field survey, biotechnology, and genomics

The fifth talk of Agrobiotechnology Talk Series has been conducted on 30 March by Prof Jerome Hui from the CUHK on ‘Insects and other arthropods in agriculture: field survey, biotechnology, and genomics’. A total of 56 participants attended the talk to gain insights on the studies carried out by Prof Hui’s laboratory, including a field survey of insects in local farms, and genetics studies in insects in light to make new biotechnological applications and genomics studies in establishing new models in agriculture, to shed light on these neglected areas.
