3 April 2021 – STEAM@Soybean Enrichment talk III X HK SciFest – Roles of Science and Technology in Agriculture

STEAM@Soybean has held the third enrichment talk jointly with HK SciFest 2021 on April 3, 2021, which was well received by nearly 80 audiences from the general public. In the talk, Center Director Prof. Lam introduced the impact and importance of science and technology on agricultural production, including water-saving systems, planting systems, mechanization, use of chemical, crop improvement and digital communications in agriculture. Through the example of agriculture, impact and contribution of STEM to mankind shall be shown.
