The University of Sydney (USYD) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have organized a webinar to explore collaborations to tackle food security and climate change and promote sustainable agriculture. The event was chaired by Prof. Brent Kaiser, Director of Sydney Institute of Agriculture (USYD) and AoE Center Director Prof HM Lam. The webinar aims to encourage constructive dialogues and build global partnership in sustainable development in consistent with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2 Zero Hunger, SDG 13 Climate Action, SDG 15 Life on Land, and SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being. 10 speakers from USYD and CUHK presented topics on crop genomics, sustainable legume production and application, emerging technologies in agriculture and environmental research, and soil resilience. More than 55 participants joined the event via Zoom.
