15-18 June 2018 – Bilateral Exchange Meeting with National Taiwan University (NTU)

AoE Center for Genomic Studies on Plant-Environment Interaction for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security jointly organized a bilateral exchange meeting with the National Taiwan University (NTU) from 15 – 17 June, 2018. During the meeting, members from our AoE Center and Institute of Plant Biology (IPB), NTU shared on their research expertise with a total of 22 insightful talks. A highlight of the meeting was the Round Table Discussion Session held on 16 June, where all Hong Kong and Taiwan delegates sit together for a comprehensive discussion in formulating future collaboration plans. Both parties expressed a common will to strengthen the Hong Kong-Taiwan collaboration bond through developing student exchange programs, organizing future bilateral meetings, jointly applying for research funding, etc. This fruitful meeting has laid a solid foundation for future CUHK – NTU collaboration projects.
